Educational Programes

The mission of Friends of Clean City is to call to action the citizens of the Tampa Bay area to work together to make Tampa a clean, healthy, and environmentally conscious community. In collaboration with the City of Tampa's Clean City Division, our focus is to raise public awareness of green city initiatives through volunteer and educational programs in an effort to create sustainable community improvements throughout the Tampa Bay area.

The annual golf tournament is Friends of Clean City's largest fundraiser to support Tampa Clean City Day, This year's golf tounament will be held on March 5, 2010 at Pebble Creek Golf Club, The 4 person scramble will begin with registration at 11 :OOam with shotgun start at 12:30pm, Prizes will be awarded for closest to the hole and longest drive....

This is a city-wide volunteer effort to conduct clean-up and beautification projects throughout the city of Tampa with a celebration immediately following for volunteers and the general public, Some of the programs that have been developed as a result of Tampa Clean City Day.... More info
